Man Utd in talks to sign Senne Lammens as doubts grow over Andre Onana
Manchester United are in active negotiations to sign Antwerp goalkeeper Senne Lammens before the transfer deadline, with uncertainty continuing to surround Andre Onana’s future at Old Trafford.
According to Fabrizio Romano, personal terms with the 23-year-old Belgian are close to being agreed, while United push ahead with discussions amid rival interest from clubs in France and Italy. The 6ft 4in stopper joined Antwerp from Club Brugge in 2023 and earned his first senior Belgium call-up earlier this year.
Onana’s position has come under scrutiny after being left out of United’s 1-0 defeat to Arsenal last weekend, when Altay Bayindir was preferred in goal but was at fault for the decisive strike. The pursuit of Lammens highlights the club’s lack of confidence in their current options.
