Nottingham Forest weigh up Ange Postecoglou move amid Nuno uncertainty
Nottingham Forest are exploring the possibility of appointing former Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou as doubts grow over the future of Nuno Espirito Santo.
According to The Sun, tensions between Nuno and club owner Evangelos Marinakis resurfaced last week after the Portuguese coach admitted their relationship “had changed.” Marinakis had previously confronted Nuno on the pitch last season, further fuelling speculation about his long-term position.
Postecoglou, who guided Spurs to Europa League glory but oversaw a disappointing 17th-place Premier League finish, is eager for a swift return to management following his dismissal at the end of last season. The Australian recently turned down an approach from Saudi side Al-Ahli, signalling his preference to continue his career in England.
